The Columbus Blue Jackets have traded defenceman Ryan Murray to the New Jersey Devils for a fifth-round pick in 2021. This move followed the earlier buyout of 26-year-old forward Alexander Wennberg and the trade of defenceman Markus Nutivaara to the Florida Panthers.
